Electromedical A.E.B.E. was founded as an S.A. in 1983 by two electronic engineers, Ioannis Tzinis and Spyros Panou, but it pre-existed since 1978 as an Unlimited Company under the command of Ioannis Tzinis.

The company’s Headquarters are located in Thessalonica, in owned premises, while an affiliate operates – in owned premises, too - in Athens, in order to better serve the clientele of Southern Greece.

Electromedical A.E.B.E. constitutes today one of the most important supply companies of medical devices and hospital equipment in Greece, marked with the particular characteristic - which distinguishes its 20year presence in the market – of the high quality of its products and services and its ongoing financial growth. In fact, Electromedical possesses today a percentage of 20% of the Greek market and is, therefore, counted amongst the two or three biggest companies in this field.

Its cooperation with Groups such as GUIDANT and ATS, as well as the vast number of its representation contracts, regarding the most important producers in the field at a global level, undoubtedly outlines the high degree of international acceptance of Electromedical.

Object of the company’s activity is the exclusive representation of foreign Houses for the import and sale of hospital equipment in State Hospitals, Private Clinics and Medical Diagnostic Centres throughout Greece.

Since 2003, Electromedical has founded the affiliate company Elemed S.A., which specialises exclusively in medical devices, for better sales and after-sales support in the entire country. Elemed cooperates with Data Medical Systems, which specialises in Radiology and EECP equipment.
